Well at least you have the tank. I bet it's driving you crazy. It would me. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
Definitely. I'm still trying to figure out in my head logistics for getting it in the door. It fits, I had measured that out before buying, but it's heavy and I'm wondering if renting a furniture dolly would be best instead of relying on a few people to support the weight at the ends to walk it in the door.

In other news, randomly scrolling Instagram and an add popped up for Mosaic Macros, a place that sells macro algae. They sell the elusive valonia for 7.99, what a steal!

Nope, one story house but there is one step on the front entrance from the garage
SIMPLI-MAGIC 79545 30 in. x 18 in. Hardwood Furniture Moving Wooden Dolly Swivel Casters Mover Dollies 2,000 lbs. Capacity, Two Pack https://a.co/d/2FFiLHM

You could get these and ratchets strap around the top of the tank and around the bottom of the dolly on each one. Then you just roll it. Pick it up over the step...then keep rolling. If carpet or hardwood, grab a piece of 1/4 plywood and rip it in half and lay it down leapfrog style if you're worried about scratching floors or getting stuck on carpet.

Id roll it up to the step lay down some 1" pvc above the step and roll er then get er back on the dollies.

Depending on how big it is id just call a safe moving company or local tank builder and see if they got the suction cups and the dollies that go up and down and try to rent them or sub the whole job out.

^^^ This

Also suggest getting a set of suction cups to help with positioning.

I had our 230 delivered by the LFS we bought it from. They carried it from the van through a set of French doors then used 2 floor dolly inside and rolled it to the living room. Tank is 30" wide so it was tight at an interrior doorway.

When they got it to the stand we lifted off the dollys and up on to the stand. Took 4 of us and some good suction cups.

Yeah...good suction cups I thought were a given. I mean...let's be real...2 or 3 grown men can move that tank bare hands. Suction cups for lifting and dollies for rolling will make it quite easy

When it settles, it resembles dark, green crumbs. Vigorously shaking the bottle daily will help keep the phyto in suspension. You know when it's dead because it stinks as anything
Stinks like the ocean or like death? Does phyto have a smell normally?

It smells like rotten eggs to me
Thank you. I braved a sniff test and couldn't smell anything so I went ahead and dosed it.

I know there is value in the dosing but I just forget to do it every day. I even have the bottle in the fridge next to my coffee creamer to try and remember to use it. I fail every day.

I just give it a shake each time I open the fridge
