Just more stress to that spot. But if it's clean....I think bulkheads will give you that needed support to not worry. Towards the top I assume. Not lower in tank. Lower equals more pressure.

You already cut it and it didnt break. The only reason they recommend space from the edge, based on thickness is to prevent cracking while drilling IIRC. Looks good.

Did you dry fit the bulkhead though? Looks awfully close to the frame for a 1.25 bulkhead to fit.

If it's modular marine..they provide the template for where to drill for the overflow.

Better safe than sorry...good call on 4 people. Picked my tank up with 3 people and set on a 40ish inch stand. We did it..but it was a terrible idea

This is cool with all the d.o.c. importance talk going on nowadays. The oceam iso-ms test now includes a d.o.c. measurement. Not sure what it al means yet exactly but it's a step...and I think it's cool.
