You can use gift cards right away but in turn you must spend $100 real money by the end of the sale. You pay $45 for shipping at the end of the sale if you don't spend more than $400 real money. Shipping is free if you spend more than $400 of your money. The $45 shipping charge doesn't count towards the money total. So...if you've spent $55 real money then buy a $45 shipping box....you've still only spent $55.

And....if a coral is $100 and you use a $25 gc...you've spent $75 real money.

It’s not hard at all to find a $100+ coral to get. I’m not sure why this is an issue honestly.

It's really because some people take advantage of it and spend way more in gift cards than they do in money. At least this way if sbb doesn't make any money at least they don't eat the extra money in the shipping . $45 doesnt really cover the shipping cost for sbb. Personally...I would put a cap on gcs if you only spend $100...like...no more than $100 in gcs..unless it's for doa/credits. Maybe unlimited gcs after $200 spent.
