alk - 9.5
ph - 8.1
salinity - 1.028
temps - 81-82
calcium - 450-500
magnesium - 1550-1600

I'll cut back a little on the magnesium but everything is pretty much perfect and steady.

I keep mines at 1.028 but that's due to the salt I use its always dead on can't go wrong with TRP mag could be dropped a bit if anything but otherwise on the money Frank I hope removing the phosban fixes that problem we spoke about

These are the 2 new additions to the growout. Thanks Bill and Jai for bringing these in. Thanks Klr for the good deal and freebie.

Blue Magic (2 eyes) Off colored and a little stressed from the cutting and shipping but if we give it some time, it should bounce right back.

Freebie that Kelby gave us. When you get the chance, send me the name again. I wrote it down but can't find it. Thanks again!

hmmm Blue magic is a little ruff, man lets hope it comes back, put that one in the shade for now Frank

Sitting in the shade and will stay there until it recovers. I estimate 6-8 weeks before it gets color back and then hopefully it will start to grow.

Hey, sorry the blue magic wasn't to appealing...Feed it alot (I feed mine 1-2 mysis or brine shrimps a night)and it should start growing fast.

The free one is called Isle Eyes. It will develop a pale/faint green growth rim once it acclimates and puffs up,or atleast my frags and colony did.

Here is the mother

Okay, time for a picture update. A lot has been added and happened since my last one. We cut a bunch of these pieces up and Dan will be picking half of them up in a couple of weeks to help me with growing them out. Growth has slowed down since I fragged a bunch of chalices so updates have slowed down. Also, I've been concentrating on my son and he's been an absolute handful. I've been running out of room and want to concentrate on the slower growing pieces and the couple of chalices that are not looking too hot so Dan will be helping a lot. This update won't be as precise as my past ones have been because I simply have too many pieces in my tank. Growth slowed down this past month and as I told you guys, I've been working on fixing this issue. Bulbs were changed, media was removed and steps were taken to try and turn this around. While I have not lost any pieces in the growout, there have been a few that have been giving me a lot of trouble. I'm happy to say the orange immolation has colored up fully and the planet earth is looking a lot better now that I'm starting to give it more light. I'm sad to say that the Dantes Inferno and Setting sun look absolutely terrible. They are completely in the shade and I'm hoping for a turn around but it may take a few months to happen. The tank is very stable so it may happen sooner than later but since this is a wild colony (new on the market) , they are more fragile and sensitive than our other pieces. Jai's golden banshee has also been extremely slow to heal. The my miami is now a little booger but trust me when I say this, once I get this figured out, these pieces will start growing super fast. Before we know it, we'll have a mini colony. many of these pictures are blurry but that is because of the placement of the chalice frags and since it's packed tight in my tank, getting a good picture is difficult. The bahama mama was cut and I took a picture of the frag that is in the growout. I have a seperate piece so the 3 of you will be splitting this one between yourselves. We have some extremely slow growing and sensitive pieces (convict, arc wanted, orange immolation, etc..) but others are showing very good growth and coloration. It's very tricky dealing with all these pieces but hopefully you guys can build on my experience and mistakes. Each of you has a few pieces that are in the growout in your tanks and hopefully in the upcoming months you guys can help take some of the pressure and responsibilty off my shoulders. I believe I covered everything so I'll start on the pics.
