I have before on some zoas and soft corals with algae issues. Killed the algae, corals were pretty shocked
If you don’t want to dip you could take a eye dropper or small paint brush and apply 3% h202 directly to the algae. Hold the frag so the droplets fall downwards and away from the coral.

I have found the formula to be on the conservative side. Or my h202 is expiring and not as potent as a new bottle. Not sure if it breaks down over time

You should start to see micro bubbles forming on the algae after a few minutes. If you dont, you need more h2o2.

I just dipped a Goni and needed to almost double the recommended amount. My algae strain was either highly resistant, or my h2o2 is old.

Sign the dosage is right -
Takes about a minute or two for bubbles to initially develop on algae + if you blow the bubbles away they should reform in a few seconds.

Those puppies are reaching out for sure. The lashes kind of block the view of the base
Yes the lashes definitely block the view. The first pic shows a gap from the flow changing and you can see the stalk. It’s a very fluffy Goni compared to most others I have

Very interesting species with lots of variation. I wish I started collecting these 2 years ago

How is it going
Trying to find someone with a good microscope. Need a closer inspection on whatever it is. Thinking I will just take the entire top rock out and trash it. The death is spreading fast enough each day that I can see it. HomeWrecker and PC Rainbow are on that rock so will try to save them. Cut them off, dip them good and put them on a rack. The entire rock is going down fast.

Good thing it's 5 pages of pontification When the answer has been on the first page, the whole time
Lot of suggestions to use a baster and keep hitting all the Acro to blow them off. I’m thinking before I do that, I want to get rid of that top rock. Right now, the death circle is confined to that one rock. If I start blowing them everywhere they can land on all the other corals. If they are happy on that rock, I want to keep them there and not spread them around.
