Found the pic of the led count per channel with the nm ratings. This is for a photon 24 so just double the led count

Also found par map

Note violet is lowest they go

Heres reefi:

Not trying to argue anything just throwing out an option

I don’t think watts really matters because any quality fixture doesn’t need to be run at 100%

I run mine 35-40%, with white on 8% and get 125-150 sandbed, 300 at the highest point on my scape

I don’t use the red or green channels
Its good convo. I never deep dove the photons, seem like great lights. The big selling point for me on reefi is spectrum. That 400/420 sets them apart from alot of lights.

Yea photon goes down to 20x420 leds

Reefi has a lot of leds for the footprint. I’m not a fanboy saying photons are the best, but they are an excellent fixture for the money. I can light the entire tank for 900$, or 718$ if I want a reconditioned one. Comes with the hanging kit and tank mount arms too

I will say the reefi looks to be a really nice light. Would cost a little more but it’s not insane. And it does have the numbers and oomph to justify spending a liter more

Ohhh I could put a reefi on the sps side and photon 16 on the other side. Steve does something like that I believe

I love Gonis and Euphyllia. Maybe too much

Reversed mostly. Photon 32 on the sps and Euphyllia section. Reefi over the Gonis .

ReefBreeders Lumen Bar 24”. Blue/UV style
Your psych evaluation has been returned. Diagnosis.

Based on the fact you have a 90g 48” tank and are lighting with
Photon 32
Lumen bar 24
Reefi mounted to the photon 32 legs

Your official diagnosis is: No OCD

Curious, what are your channels set to on your photon?

Does everyone here use bar lights? I've been planning 2 noopsych with a smatfarm in the middle (have this one already) on my new 5ft. Love the shimmer it's almost like having halides

It looks cool but little too bulky for me

Someone on here is selling some light bars I was thinking of picking them up but don’t know how to attach them to my photon

Not bulky in my mind more full spread if you ask me. I have even par across tank and contribute it to more spread .

Also need to think of sun up and down and dimming features. That's why I chose what I did. Didn't see much for options of sun up and down and full adjustment in color ranges.
