I have logs back to Dec 2022, my phosphate has only gone over .1 three times
1) spike to .34 after I spilled reef roids
2) measurement of .16 for unknown reasons - was around when I added more fish so possibly system was adjusting to increased bioload and feeding
3) ridiculously high reading of .98 the other day which is right after I fed crt 3x in a week. I stopped. And after 4 days with no water change or intervention my scrubber has it cut in half and down to .55, it will self resolve. But geez. I’m worried about using this stuff again. If I do…I’ll increase testing to daily until I learn the product
If your tank hasnt built up the bacteria to process the food youre just spiking nutes and wasting bacteria.
I dont know the science behind it all, but thats my takeaway based on the information in his thread, and how my tank has responded.
