You got your single and your 3sum

Interchangeable tiles.

Single hole for growing out onto a 2x2. Great for sps frags to encrust over their plug and make a nice base

5 hole for having a source center plug spread to blank plugs
Remove plugs as they become covered and replace with blanks

these have been around for years, and they are a little cheaper, looks like the larger size is out of stock though. i have some, they work great.

Somebody told me Shane was shipping his corals in the Zen Reef cups back when he started but don’t know if true or not.

The fact that they figured out the dip amounts for all the major types Is enough to make me buy this one and support their company

@billyocean I guess my phosphate really were .98 a few days ago

That crt v3 is strong stuff I guess

My system / scrubber has naturally reduced to .55 over the last 4 days. Probably will be a few more to get down to normal levels. Good thing my rock isn’t phosphate bound :)
I find it can bottom out my po4 so I have to watch it. But...it makes my acros hungry and since there are so many it probably causes them to drink the p04 like Kool aid.

I put an entire tsp of roids in my DIY concotion. Dose it over 5 days, 50mL x2 per day. Po4 has spiked at .11, but drops. Sometimes i habe to dose more roids by itself.

I remmeber adding a literal pinch and seeing my po4 go towards .2

@VintageReefer this is with adding 1.5 grams a day of the crt v3 and dosing 10 ml of a diy trisodium phosphate that is about 2 times stronger than NeoPhos in 125 tank.

What is it that drives po4 lower? Does the bacteria propagation consume the po4 and the corals consume the bacteria?

Since feeding the V2 the past couple weeks. My PO4 has definitely been declining. It use to hang out around .16-.3 depending on feeding the corals now it’s hanging around .08-.12 even tho I feed 3-4x what I was

Do systems have to adjust to the crt?

I don’t know how to explain this

I have logs back to Dec 2022, my phosphate has only gone over .1 three times

1) spike to .34 after I spilled reef roids
2) measurement of .16 for unknown reasons - was around when I added more fish so possibly system was adjusting to increased bioload and feeding
3) ridiculously high reading of .98 the other day which is right after I fed crt 3x in a week. I stopped. And after 4 days with no water change or intervention my scrubber has it cut in half and down to .55, it will self resolve. But geez. I’m worried about using this stuff again. If I do…I’ll increase testing to daily until I learn the product
