Might just get some fluval ecobrights and call it a day.
Those or the poplarglow or whatever their called are probably more than enough for your application.

I need that

We need the lesson, to learn from it. Something happened…need to figure it out
I’ve been struggling all summer with temp spikes since the tank is in the garage, but this has been going on for two months. Not saying it’s a good thing but it’s nothing “new” for the tank

@VintageReefer I added a Quanta Pro to my system a few months back and will add another soon. The build quality is top notch. Customer service and shipping was exceptional. Price is great ($300 for the 72 inch including shipping). Luca is very open to sharing information as well.

This is just my experience.

I’ve considered the quanta and also the aliexpress bars which I heard good stuff about.

I like the rb lumen bars because they also are supposed to replicate a t5, and I suspect these are rebranded from somewhere else. They also come with the cool custom bracket to make integration super easy

The Helix has me interested. I know quanta makes great stuff so I am definitely going to look into this

I turned off my UV sterilizer over the past week to try and stop some of the temp swings, maybe that’s my next guess? But idk how that would affect anything besides bacteria.
It's either something drastic that happened today or a week or two ago

I'm leaning toward a heavy metal or something. But...you know what your orp was or swing? Could have been a bac bloom...water clear? So many variables.

Well crap, tank had been cruising for months. Woke up this morning and most everything is STN or RTN-ing. Tested all parameters yesterday and everything was fine, time to do some digging
I feel your pain... :(
Had a busy day yesterday, went to look at my tanks in the evening and had half a dozen acro's turning white. Some looked more like they got stung from something but have nothing remotely close that would cause that. My Alk was a little higher than normal but nothing ridiculous. Did WC and see what it looks like after work today. Aaarrrggghhh! :(

I’m seriously thinking ReeFi for all the lights eventually however. Powerful and ridiculously adjustable
Was that shroom under reef fi or other light cause colors were great . When mine go need options . Probably 3 more Years out of 247 ocean revives.

You know I’ve been battling turf algae for a while and it’s finally clearing up after 3-4 months of it and water was definitely been slightly cloudy recently. Regular water changes sill during all that. ORP no idea

Not to bad . I would set the heater 77.5 to help.

I run water at these times through a 100 micron filter to 5 gallon bucket and have another pump pump the water to sump. May help.
