I buy the PolypLab glue grenades. Is the dollar tree really just as effective? I’d be concerned with quality control on cheap super glue and having some contaminants getting into the tank.

Dollar Tree sells Super Glue brand gel super glue. The original!

I've used a few different gel glue, the dollar store is just as good if not better than some of the others. It's the "Original Super Glue" according to the package.

It's just a cheap tube and tip, no clog preventer. But I usually don't pop it open for just 1 frag.

Pretty much. Also never cut flesh or the stalk really short. Sometimes the stalk can fracture during cutting but you can superglue it and observe. I've never had one fracture but I've seen it happen

Yup, when cutting any Euphyllia or frimbrophyllia (octospawn/frogspawn and hammers) always use a dremel and not coral cutters.

I dunno, @woodyarmadillo frags them by throwing them on the ground. He has a dremel but just dunks it in the tank because he like the buzz
