Was worth a shot. Another 20% disability from VA. Plus it’s fun to watch peoples reaction when you tell them you’re certified crazy.

Well they dont want to put a title to it anymore because that may make you feel bad. For me that just says you have problems but we are not going to tell you what they really are so that they can be fixed.

I do think it’s kinda funny that 30 years ago I opted not to go to the airlines because my hearing was so bad from being around jets so much. Now the Fed and FAA are going after all the pilots that got on with the airlines and also have a VA disability that would disqualify them from getting a Class 1 physical and being an airline pilot. I think they are going after the doctors that certified them to fly as well.

F105 ThunderChief built by Fairchild Republic. longest takeoff roll of any fighter, but what a jet. It was rumored that if someone were to build a runway that went around the world, Fairchild Republic would build a fighter that would use the entire length to takeoff.

Most modern fighters need about 8000’ of runway. They don’t use it all, but if you have to abort or land heavy weight, it’s nice to have it. Unless you‘re a Navy guy. For them, anything longer than 300’ is a waste of real estate.

Well, got these during the July sale. The SBB Sailor moon, red dragon and orange blast have all encrusted on the the rocks where they're mounted. All the white/light spots on sailor moon is new growth starting also from what I can tell.

Always nice seeing. Not bad for just shy of two months!
