actually ecotech is going to have a big problem one day...they did not add a fuse.I dont remember ever hearing of a 12v catch anything on fire unless the battery itself shorted out. In that case you add a fuse.

8-12” where I am. Glad I have the day off.Yesterday they said up to 4 inches of snow tonight. Now it's little to no accumulation or up to an inch of "coating" of snow.
We're just sending it all your way....
what do you think @steveschuerger 12 v battery with fuse to run mp40's. possibly use 12v from electric car.8-12” where I am. Glad I have the day off.
got a little too excited about getting my corals into their new homeWe knew you threw away the 2 . Let's see what shane says about that but congrats on the win. Next time like this
Its an electric car , no alternator. i believe it stays around 12v, not much over. I can test this.Yeah Younwere right DC is DC.. brainfart.
Only issue with car is the additional voltage from alternator at 14.4v, ii like throwing extra voltage at my electric fishing reels, speeds things up haha, not sure how the mp40 controllers do with it.
I guess I will do a thread.Its an electric car , no alternator. i believe it stays around 12v, not much over. I can test this.
Don't forget to stick your tongue to the wires to see if it's working.I guess I will do a thread.
Who were all of the sticker winners? Do you know @Thuan@SBB Corals . While everyone is here, lets do the reveal
Ahhh, those things have to be more than 12v?? I cant imagine those bigass drives being 12v at least, thats some serious sustained amperage. I guess theres a 12v step down somewhere for all of the electronics though?Its an electric car , no alternator. i believe it stays around 12v, not much over. I can test this.
which ones the high or low voltage....the question will be what the high voltage charges the low voltage battery with when that kicks in like an alternator.Don't forget to stick your tongue to the wires to see if it's working.
@Miclmcorallover is #1, @laumil87 is #2, @banik is #3, I'm #4, and @robanister is #5Who were all of the sticker winners? Do you know @Thuan
right it has a 12v standard to run electronics considered low voltage which is charged by the big battery. big battery runs car driving (high voltage)The high-voltage battery system carries up to 408 volts.Ahhh, those things have to be more than 12v?? I cant imagine those bigass drives being 12v at least, thats some serious sustained amperage. I guess theres a 12v step down somewhere for all of the electronics though?
Congratulations to all the winners. Hopefully we get to see the prize reveal soon.
Just get long jumpers for the car…….what do you think @steveschuerger 12 v battery with fuse to run mp40's. possibly use 12v from electric car.
Umm, yes...which ones the high or low voltage....the question will be what the high voltage charges the low voltage battery with when that kicks in like an alternator.
Stevo is on board with the ideaJust get long jumpers for the car…….
So wait, he can't just pour the electricity out and carry it inside?Just get long jumpers for the car…….
