Well, I was hopeful on the Fish frenzy pulling through. Only had one brach stn yesterday, so was going to frag it some today. Well, woke up to it looking like this:

If course, everything else looks fine. But lights are still out, so I'll look again once they come on. Will be doing a 20% WC tomorrow, would today but waiting for the 48 hours for the chemiclean time.

Maybe just the skin from RTN overnight I'm really not sure. Pulled it out as soon as I saw it

I never really showed any bubbles on any of our acros so I don't think so.

Hopefully just a fluke issue and everything else stays healthy.

Its probably result from the tissue necrosis. It's likely brown jelly like film from the dead tissue disintegrating

So a little update.

I tried an amoxicillin dip.

I used 50mg of powder in 50mL and dipped a pink diamond for 20min. It stopped all recession for about 12hrs. Continued to progress. Did another dip for 10min mostly ineffective. Did another dip and it hung onto some flesh for another 24hrs before completely letting go.

My special wolverine lost 1 branch, dipped for 10min, have not had any additional recession for 3 days.

That's what I was thinking, jelly from the rapid tissue dying.

Now:

Hard to say that antibiotics stopped the recession. My two speciosa did the same thing but I did nothing and the recession stopped. I think speciosa are just finicky and its not necessarily bacteria issue.

It absolutely paused the pink diamond, would have melted within the next couple hours. Just tossing data out there but agree, we'll see.
