What is that all.over it?
It's like brown jelly.... I just literally had the same thing happen last night. Pull that out now @Rennurdoar .

I don't know why I do this to myself. So anyways I'm kind of sick of pulling bubble algae daily, so I said to myself "let's try Reef Flux Rx again even though I've had losses both times I've tried it in the past.". I did a higher dose than the label to try and get rid of the bubble algae.

Well my SBB Double Rainbow just did the same thing. I pulled it last night and did KCL dips for anything near it. Hoping I have an isolated loss.

I run the full 350g dose in our 90g system to kill all algae and bubble algae. Never had an issue previously. I pulled that one first thing this morning. Sorry on your double rainbow

How big is your tank? Read my post here. This works to eliminate bubble algae.

Reading that, I should have put #5 as #3.

32 gallon. That has been the pain, it's too small for rabbitfish or tangs. Even though I've read pithos are good, they get too big for this size tank.

Yeah, I know multiple people have had success with it. I think that is the funny things about tanks and their microbiomes, everyone can have different reactions which is why no one can always or be completely right. It is what it is, part of the hobby.

I think I recall you reading that you did chemiclean though and a hammer died. That might have been the start of the chain reaction. I hate adding chemicals to the tank, I should have learned better.
