I get that sometimes, small snip. Here’s a pic. I may just see if it clears itself out. Not sure I want to chance with a dip
Fwiw I would at least cut it. That algae is gonna agitate the polyps next to it… if they bail or die, that could give the algae a stronger hold. Here’s a pic. I may just see if it clears itself out. Not sure I want to chance with a dip
Ouch I feel you. It's water main flushing time for the next month. No ro use during this time. Water made for 2 months just in case.People report success, others don't. The biggest issue is finding root cause.
I'm pretty sure this frag tank was float glass, but it was used. I used Amazon braided nylon and PVC.
Whats really crazy is my buddy a few miles away did ATI. Had 6ug tin after DI and in tank. We had a massive watermain break, maybe it's the solder/welding from that. I have no idea at this point, tin shouldn't be in tap. He runs his tank alot different than mine, dosing/feeding/etc. Almost no commonality.
I'm watching some pieces melt, TSA day dream went up, a 2 year dormant jf fox flame, dippin dots looks like absolute crap. Bugs bunny. I'm just waiting for the first big colony at this point. In the midst of a legit crash right now.
Checked all magnets, do have some rusty screws on fuge light, most likely culprit right now. Vacuumed sump, checked for rogue metal or missing screws above the tank. Could be jebao wave maker in sump, frag tank, or jebao return pump those are all new equipment. Checked my utility pump for water transfer, in mostly good shape and doesn't sit in water. My nitrate is industrial grade but marketed 99%, I can't find anything indicating tin as a potential contaminants in sodium nitratem
Frag tank addition has been a total epic disaster. Hoping to hit water changes hard and pray its enough to salvage, worst part is I won't know for 2 weeks how much more is going to die, in addition to all the swings resulting from drastic measures. Rough.
How do you frag? Do you have one of those official coral band saws?Frag to fabulous
SBB bears

I had to do this with bone cutters from the frag disk, after that i used a razor blade. I cut two frags and both are doing great But as you can see it gets really stressed out for about a week. After that it colors back upHow do you frag? Do you have one of those official coral band saws?
Mine is not until wedWho’s getting a delivery soon? Can’t wait for more videos…
It's hard to get a good pic of the blue ones where they areHave any pics? I'm a sucker for mushrooms
I hope you get it figured out.Now I have. Similar suggestions as the more recent threads. I pulled the fuge light. Hinges aren't in bad shape at all, may throw some jelly on em but they only have oxidation stains at best. No pitting nor flaking.
It's unique to the new tank addition IMO, im leaning towards fuge light or vinyl lines still.
