You’ll hate me for saying this then. I have a ReefBreeders Photon v2 and ReeFi Uno 2.0 . I had won a Radion then sold it cause I didn’t need it at the time. Should’ve saved it cause I’m thinking about going with 2-3 smaller footprint lights at some point.
You know if I stopped buying corals

Sold a few nems

In 6-12months when I finish paying off my credit cards I could put one of these be icon lights on my credit card

Lol

I think that light covers about 36in. My idea for my 48in if I won was to mount that in the middle with my Noopsyches on either side.

But two side by side would be all the light you ever need forever and ever.

So I could mount it in the middle and add two AI primes on either side?

Be nice to be able to afford a second one…

I was looking at the Orphek site and say they have a light called the Atlantik iCon…..not sure what the difference is that makes it more expensive …

I’m in the hunt for the K7 III. I won a Mini last winter. Planning that for another attempt at a nano build

I think I heard they’re looking at putting another out for West Coasters called Pacifik iCon

Ok that’s silly

Still can’t determine difference

Well the UV light channel on the Atlantik has glass lens

I did not know you could upgrade older orpheks by buying (essentially) all the parts and swapping them out

You haven’t noticed that I’m silly? As far as I can tell the Natura looks to be the entry level with the Atlantik being the “top of the line” . Could be wrong but that’s wht it looks like to me.

Are you using them? Or just saving them for an emergency?
They are being put to good use.

One in a box waiting for the upgrade from the 3fter to the 4fter--will have 4 minis over it until I upgrade.

The Atlantic has 85w more power, wider spectrum(hits the ir and uv spectrums harder), and weighs twice as much(glass, better frame, heavier power supply).

So what your saying is if you buy one of these overly priced lights spend the extra $100 and get an Atlantik?

Do you think it’s the extra power?

And the LEDs on the Natura are 6w?

I think the only covers that are glass are the UV/Violet ones?

I would. Double(and some) the weight for 100 more... I like the 740nm peak, but not everybody believes in the Emerson effect.
The Atlantik compact hits the same numbers but with less lights ….interesting
