Mounted the new corals! Just got the Zoas for the color difference. The acro is on the back of the tank where the GSP used to be.

Nothing new on the tank. Doing a water change and will then do tests. Noticed some great growth on my SPS. I mean not anything stunning but for me any growth is great.

Made my salmon curry last night and managed to rub poblano pepper into my skin without realizing it. Poblano is not a spicy pepper but dang that hurt. Guess I'm lucky I was cooking for someone who doesn't like spicy otherwise I would have used a far spicier pepper.

Considering it’s been a long time without a water change I’m pretty happy. Did add some nitrate and GFO though to balance them a bit more though.

A bit concerned by my Alkalinity as I’m dosing a lot of kalkwasser. About 5ml per gallon.

They are rather shy in general, you may see him in a few more days once he’s happy

Picked up a couple on sale corals:
A two headed green and blue branching hammer and a red blue and green favia. There does seem to be some white mucous coming off the hammer. Hope it’s nothing.

I would. Were these shipped? Euphyllia don't like sitting in their own filth in shipping bags. I give mine a dip with an iodine based dip, but any dip should do.

Nah from the LFS but I’ll dip. I have the Red Sea dip.

Forgot to say @i cant think but I was this close to getting a tilefish. They had skunk and bluehead and the bluehead were so pretty that I almost got one but I’m trying my hardest to stop getting fish for a while.

I always dip mine, shipped or LFS. You don't want Euphyllia flatworms sneaking in.

I usually only dip colonies but I do like the smell of thyme
