Hey you were the one who just asked a question out of nowhere. No mention of cyano or even a 'reply'. And trust me 5 years out of college and I still get nightmares. Why it is my subconscious self decides to repeatedly skip an entire semester before stumbling to the exams I have no idea.

So relatable. I heard PTSD from school is very common with people.

You do have a point, Mr. Bean.

I’m feeling extra dorky tonight. :p

And why would I say no? ;)
if you have the proper care for them and can handle a group (Which I bet you can) go for it!
I guess my question is is there an optimum number of anthias for color retention but also aggression amongst each other?

For color retention I’d say best is solo or at least 4 or 5

The best numbers I find are generally the high numbers, usually groups of 10 seem to work as well as giving them reasons to school (Damsels and ‘danger’).

But thanks thats what I was thinking and 10 is too many. It was a reasonably priced fish but not cheap and thats probably too many fish in there anyway

You may get away with 4-6 of this species as I was thinking of similar care to Lyretail but if I remember correctly this species varies in its ability to group and not kill others off.
