He used to be so big and fluffy. Now he shrunk and is bleaching I think. I think I saw a baby version of him next to the big one. When mushrooms are dying do they try and split or reproduce for their offspring to survive then? He used to be so big and colorful and I got him as a tiny baby and now over a year later he looks like this.

For reference this is how big, fluffy, and colorful he used to be compared to the tiny baby I got him as. I think and this happened to a lot of my mushrooms when I had my Apex probe break and not know it the heater wouldn’t turn back on and the temp ended up being all over the place. Just my theory but this happened weeks ago. What if I frag him in the above condition? Any chance of survival I feel like his odds of survival/healing are not good.

I have a lot of kongs, they love po4. They have also survived some nasty stuff (3x dino, high sg, etc). I'd check your po4 but they tend to be super resilient.
