i have a breeding pair of geophagus tapajos (red headed earth eaters) that i have had since they were juveniles, ~40 assorted corydoras (maybe more, who knows), a shoal of 45 gold tetras, large group of cardinal and neon tetras, and a buttload of bristlenose plecos (not the best picture at all)

If that’s it, I assume I need to teat the entire tank. Is that possible?
Yeah interceptor. 2 big dog pills per 100-150gal (recipe billyocean gave me and worked for white bugs).

protocol is
1 dose
1 dose 24hrs later
1 dose 7 days later (i think)

Others do 1 dose every week for 3 weeks.

This doesn't look like bugs...looks like aefw..the newer kind of aefw. They can rtn a colony overnight. I'm not a pestologist though.

Same question. How do you treat the entire tank? Most of my colonies are very encrusted and won’t come off.

Edit. How do you get ride of the eggs.

Bugs is interceptor. Aefw is drain the tank below any acros.. spray with a kcl solution....let sit 15-20 minutes.. refill. Do that 4 weeks in a row. Otherwise cut off the rock...kill what's encrusted and dip for 8-10 weeks

You can scrape what you find but short answer is you don't. The reason for the multiple week dipping is because you are interrupting the life cycle. And killing them before they can have more eggs

With it a little more open like that I've got to agree with @billyocean looks like some form of flatworm. Big question for me is are they on the live colonies or just the ones that are already gone
I broke this off on a colony where the dying area was just below the break. Can’t tell. This coral has blue skin with green polyps.

Put it in some dip and see what comes off
Give it a full dip and see what comes off. If you have flatworms or bugs come off it will be a start to finding out how to proceed

Although I do see what looks like aefw bites
