Just had a stony moment. Waterbill doubled. Had to dig out the main. Was worried the diesel smushed the main after the meter. Turned out it was inbetween the sprinkler shut off valve and the sprinkler solenoids. Havent used them ever and always told myself i should shut that valve.

Couple hundred dollar lesson.

Others do 1 dose every week for 3 weeks.

I do one big pill per 100 gallons. 8 hours later another big pill....8 hours later another big pill. Then wait 7 days and repeat. Then do it again 7 days later if needed.
