So, I have a tank (and stand, equipment, etc) to pick up just west of Springfield, MA. It's right at 200#.

How do I find a couple of strong backs to help load it? Task rabbit failed me.

200#s seems light. This was 550# of glass and a real pain to move with myself and physics only

I need to move a 83g tank into my house, across my house, and up to a second floor. I have a hand truck and furniture dolly. Rope. Ratchet straps. The stairs are holding me up in my plan but I found stair climbing hand trucks that seem intriguing

I just snagged the frag 165! What a mistake trying to use 5% vinegar to clean coraline was. 5lbs of citric coming tmrw.
I'm super excited moving up from a 26g nano. It comes with a ton of equipment, literally everything I need and more, and it was only wet for 4 months. And I posted on our local FB reefing group and already have at least one helper.

A dollie to move it on and a second person would probably be enough. But these are great for super heavy items
I picked this up to get the SR60 up 2 flights. I weighs just under the max load. Worked fine.

Uhaul you can hire movers for cheap. Or check for some folks looking for work in the Home Depot parking lot

Not a bad price for that. Personally I prefer to get the stupidly over powered one if I can. I would rather have wiggle room

seth meyers announcement GIF by Late Night with Seth Meyers

1) we will do an unboxing video contest for a $250 Gift card. We will pick a video at random and award the winner after all boxes have been shipped. The idea is that you will do a video receiving your corals. You will document the package coming in and opening them and then showing them in your tank. We will use the video on our testimonial section of our website. We hope many people enter this contest. the video must be on YouTube. Tag us with your entry or it won’t count. Good luck to all and we cant wait to see what you got!

2) stay active as we will be giving out random $25 gift card as this thread lives on!!!!!

Hell yeah! Bro 1 helper is all you need, assuming no stairs. If you have a 3rd theyre literally going to get in the way. I moved the waterbox 165 (72x25x16) with an older gent. Use dollies wherever possible and take your time dont chip anything and you're golden. Its not like ya gota lift it over your head. My buddy and I did a 180 together, it wasnt a walk in the park but 180 and below is all doable with 2 and some dollies.
