Usually fox face is recommended but they get spoiled and don’t do what they are advertised to do. Emerald crab eats it for sure but takes time.
I keep seeing emeralds at the LFS I may just have to get one.

My Purple tang is an a. S. S. Adding a fox face may not go well….. that and the current tank is only a 75….even the 100G may not provide enough space for the purple, the tomini, and a fox face

Adding a fox face is actually easy . Once a tang feels that poison they tend to give them their space. I would be weary on the corals you have though as they tend to nip lps , more often meaty flesh and long tentacle. It does not eat them all but if it finds its taste it will kill it.

As far as adding flucanazole algaefx reefhd, it will kill it and it will kill any algae you have. It tends to irritate coral maybe lose a piece not often though. It opens a lot of real estate and hits biological bacteria. You might see white fungal growth after or a visit from early ugly stage nuisances. So just be prepared if you go that route. It says reef safe but it does alter it.

How tall should an aquascape be? My tank is 22” tall. How tall should I make the rocks, or rather what should be my max height?

And I’m here so yall know I got some Sticks headed my way
You’re not adding a colony to start and I’m assuming none of the frags are staghorns. So 2/3 at max with the expectation to lower the scape after a few years.

Random question but how many tanks do you guys have?
1 180 I’m a truck driver over the road I do my best to manage my tank with automation. Lots of apps haha , what I can’t do my lady does. I try to keep her to the minimum as she isn’t a reefer. If I was home though I would have two more. A quarantine for coral and one for fish.

Since sticks go on top I think it should be easy enough to create a scape that allows me to move my gardens over….just need to figure out how I want to set it up…..which is the hard part….i have rocks….i need to get to it!

@jpshoemaker46 my current tank is hitting the 5yr old mark. I have suffered through a tank crash…which led me to letting the tank be for about 2yrs. I have lots of corals but lack the room to properly grow them out. I have a problem with buying all the pretty stuff! You’ll get there! But don’t be like me and over do it.

The cool thing about corals is they fit in just about every tank aside from a few. The only thing that 40 keeps you out of is the bigger fish. A nano does allow you to get the smaller lost in a large system fish and appreciate them. So don’t be discouraged take advantage.
