No. It’s 100% dry rock with two rounds of live bacteria dosing. That said two weeks ago I popped a live rock in the tank because I realized I needed to introduce some real biodiversity. Also doses once pods and amphipodsIs this fresh live rock?

I really hope we make it there. It is really satisfying if you can ever get it to pay off and work out. I asked them if it was eating and they told me they didn't know, so that's on me. There were two other people who wanted to buy it so naturally I HAD to have it. Against my better judgement.Glad to hear it’s going well! I never had luck getting them to eat on my own. Copped out and got one from a friend who already had it trained to eat frozen. He goes after every and anything I dump in the tank from mysis to trying to tackle a large chunk of beef heart.
As long as it eats your already ahead of the game. I’m downstairs watching the giants play and my tank cbb actually seems to be utilizing my cleaner shrimp. None of other fish do. The tangs seem to be getting used to their new roommate.I really hope we make it there. It is really satisfying if you can ever get it to pay off and work out. Where’s the fun if we used our best judgement every time lolI really hope we make it there. It is really satisfying if you can ever get it to pay off and work out. Well I've heard of live rock, dry rock, holey rock, but fuzzy rock is a new one!No. It’s 100% dry rock with two rounds of live bacteria dosing. I don't think we're in the clear just yet. I feel like the answer lies in getting some type of food on a rock for him but what food that the other fish won't destroy, or how much? Then where bc there are so many rocks and the tank is 8ft long. I would prob put it near where he paced so more of the other fish problem. As long as it eats your already ahead of the game. I believe your a member of Corals Admittedly now so you're forgiven.I really hope we make it there. It is really satisfying if you can ever get it to pay off and work out. So for your 125 gal tank, you've only got 20 snails total? I'm thinking you might be a little light there. What I've been told is to have 1 to 5 snails per gallon. Granted urchins and tangs do their part. But they also can't fit in the smaller spaces.125g and dosing around 10ml a day. The deeper algae doesn’t seem to be taking the hit but the upper algae in the column do seem to be falling off
Captive bred copperband? You would know by the price (if it’s a thing). Sometimes stores will get them eating which is a premium. That’s great! Animals are so stupid. Makes you wonder if your cbb is wild or aquacultured. Mine is clocking in 1.5-2” and I suspect captive bred

Ah I don’t know? I have 15 nassarius snails and diamond goby too. Based on what I read from BRS conservative use of snails is better than a mass amount of them. Maybe you’re right and I could go for a bit more though. So for your 125 gal tank, you've only got 20 snails total? I'm thinking you might be a little light there. $80 for mine$120?
Yeah, they're high on fish. I only impulse buy there. If I order thru them it's much cheaper. I don't think they're told if it's eating or even if it's wild.$80 for mine
Yeah I really want to keep buying from absolutely fish because of their 2 week copper tank treatment of all fish that come but I saw this guy and was an impulse buy.Yeah, they're high on fish. Both normal pricing; they are likely wild caught. A captive bred CBB would be an expensive fish.$80 for mine
See, the copper makes me nervous. Sure, some are healed of small things but you take any fish with something serious and boost it's immune system artificially, then he goes in your tank with no medication. Maybe the risk v reward is there, I just prefer my LFS water be as close to mine as possible.Yeah I really want to keep buying from absolutely fish because of their 2 week copper tank treatment of all fish that come but I saw this guy and was an impulse buy.

Got mine at Reef Beauties . Almost 4 inches long for $43Yeah, they're high on fish. I only impulse buy there. If I order thru them it's much cheaper. I don't think they're told if it's eating or even if it's wild.
May not hurt to look into getting more. Even if you add double your current numbers it would help. Think of it this way 1, 1 inch snail has to cover A LOT of terrain to make any difference in a 48" x 24" tank. Also have you look into any animals to help boost your CUC. It's also possible you've got an algea growing that your current cuc won't eat.Ah I don’t know? I have 15 nassarius snails and diamond goby too.
