I started a few months ago and I swear most of my coral reacted in a positive way. I get better pe on my gonis yeah, but my euphyllia and everything else too. I notice the sweeper tentacles on my brain coral reached further. I wouldn't operate without it even if I didn't have gonis.

I “feel” I notice improvement. At 40$ for a bottle that will supplement 2 tanks, daily, for over a year, why not

You can get it much cheaper than that and I know some people who use the powder version which is much cheaper. I go through a bottle every two months, but it's only a small bottle.

Ok so I pull a water sample last night right before my nightly dose of alk ran.

DKh was 8

I dose 6ml at night and then another 3ml at 6 am. So when I check dKh is currently it is 8.5.

I’m thinking I should split up my doses a little more. I know @Thuan says she doses hourly. I think @billyocean was talking about how if we test regularly we can avoid catastrophe. I obviously need to listen because my last dKh was 9.2 on 10/8.

Wed-Sat I plan to test at 7pm from now on. Since I know I’m home by then from work. So I think that should be my dedicated testing time.

I’m going to check calcium now and see where it’s at.

I do not plan on bringing my Dkh back up to 9.2 but feel like 8.5 is a good number.

So the question is - is splitting my alk dosage up through out the day - say into 4 doses - the way to go?

150ml x 3.3 = 495ml
15$ x 3.3 = 49.50 (plus sh? Does brs charge sh?

So 500ml for 40

I add .4ml to my tank,
So 500ml / .4 ml = 1250 doses

1250 / 365 day = 3.4 years

Ok. So this will last me years at this rate lol

I add 0.5 every day and then add 1ml during weekly water changes.

I like night time dosing as well. Could help PH from falling during non light period.
