I make up 10-12 gallons of kalk in a dog food container under the sump and let her eat. Dont have to touch the tank for almost 2 weeks although consumptions turning that into 10 days. May switch my 15 gallon ato dog food container to the 13 gallon kalk. Should get me back to two weeks hands off.

I’m planning to try Kalk in ATO eventually. I was watching a wwc video the other day and the guy said the Kalk solution is only good for a few days before it loses potency, which I hadn’t heard before and was discouraging. I take it that you don’t experience that? Also what are those yellow nipples called that connect soft airline tubing to the rigid stick tubing? I’d like to find those to buy separately.

The nipples came with the dosing container. Unsure of what theyre called or where to find them.

I havent had any issues, maybe towards the tailend it gets a lil weaker? I mix up 5 gallons and top off most of the container time and that usually remixes it.

I use a jebao dosing pump, been doing it a couple years this way now, dose on the hour. Gota change out the dosing lines periodically as they get clogged. The dosing lines inside the pump have failed a couple times as well and leaked.

Forgot to add the monster in my colony shots. WWC Grizzly Adam’s I’ve had for 14 months. It probably sucks up half my calcium use each month. I’ve fragged multiple mini colonies off of it and it just grows faster.
