I actually wonder about discarding any?

Had an acro years ago, when I shouldn't have bought any, just wasn't ready for sticks. It died and I left it where it was puttied as I didn't feel like prying off the rock. A couple years later, there was actually new growth from the dead skeleton. Unfortunately have no pics of that.
As for LPS, have a fungia plate right now that had a hammer fall on it overnight. Pretty much died off. Algae all over skeleton. Has started to grow back in the center, plus a bunch of little stalks on the outskirts. When those little stalks grow baby fungia plates about the size of a dime, I break them off and it grows another plate :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

With those couple of incidents, actually have wondered if just about any coral could regenerate if given enough time and proper conditions to thrive?

I think it's hit or miss, I had an order of live rock that had dead corals on it, some came back some didn't.

Nothing to loose though, if it isn't in the way, leave it and maybe get a nice surprise one day.

I had a Goni that went into “I hate my life” mode for for 4 months. I put it in the back corner and it came back. Not as “dead” as those but I really thought it was a goner. But its story doesn’t have a fully happy ending. A month or so later it BJ’d. But still, it’s worth it to try.

How long did it take for your fungia to show signs of regeneration?

Same here with a no name I got in January last year. After two months it looked completely white, but still had polyps showing. Put it in low light (220 PAR) and just left it alone. Took it 7 months to start looking alive again. It’s twice as big now. Colors are coming back. Have it in 400 PAR now. Pictures are poor, but definitely came back.

Ohhh I see which one should I get?

250mg
500mg
Whichever you can when it comes in stock. I did 500mg. If you end up in a pickle and need it im sure a few of us would overnight it. Im trying not to crack the seal unless necessary as i dunno if that impacts shelf life. Maybe i should and just vacuum seal 10 count batches.

SBB Dragonglass Zoa I found earlier last year. Had one head last fall….ironically my only Zoa. Was going to send the whole thing to Shane when the weather warmed but there’s gonna be enough to frag now I guess…

Hey goni lovers I have a question, any idea what the price range is on these kind of glitter gonis? Thinking about picking one up at the frag swap i'm going to this weekend.
About 200-250 , at least online. Might be able to get a better deal a a local swap

I saw some for 150 recently, but suddenly a lot of different vendors had some starting a few weeks ago. Otherwise 2-250.
