Snail auctioneveeyting has been removed in preperation for tomorrow auctions
Definitely demographic, I can get a yellow Coris for $30, lawnmower $20, sailfin $50-60, hippo for $60-$80 depending on size.I've seen a lot higher pricing. This pricing is on the lower end IMO but I suppose it depends on where you live
One at a time?Snail auction

The Needham PetCo I use has a mix of prices that are slightly lower, but it’s sometimes hit or miss on what’s in stock. Those are pretty average, Can get cheaper online but then there’s shipping….Anyone else think my lfs has outrageous fish prices?
before my friend move back to OH, he used to work at my local Petco. He's in charge of ordering the livestock. I can get stuff through him using his employee 40% off.The Needham PetCo I use has a mix of prices that are slightly lower, but it’s sometimes hit or miss on what’s in stock. Nice. I know the aquarium section manager, but not that well. Still I’ve gotten a deal or two, just not 40%.before my friend move back to OH, he used to work at my local Petco. He's in charge of ordering the livestock. I can get stuff through him using his employee 40% off.
It'd hard to soar with the eagles when you're surrounded by turkeysGuess the farmers are getting ready for an early spring, whole town smells like cow and turkey crap.

I actually wonder about discarding any? Here's a good example of an acro surviving and thriving if you dont make rash decisions. It doesn't always work out this way but every now and then it does.

I always have an empty suitcase for food and candies and chocolates. They definitely enjoyed it last time!
If it's completely covered in algae then an acro won't survive....if there's a speck left it canI actually wonder about discarding any?
Had an acro years ago, when I shouldn't have bought any, just wasn't ready for sticks. It died and I left it where it was puttied as I didn't feel like prying off the rock. A couple years later, there was actually new growth from the dead skeleton. Unfortunately have no pics of that.
As for LPS, have a fungia plate right now that had a hammer fall on it overnight. Pretty much died off. Algae all over skeleton. Has started to grow back in the center, plus a bunch of little stalks on the outskirts. When those little stalks grow baby fungia plates about the size of a dime, I break them off and it grows another plate
With those couple of incidents, actually have wondered if just about any coral could regenerate if given enough time and proper conditions to thrive?
