I've never used one aside from a green killing machine for dinos temporarily. I read the same about pentair for anything longterm, aquauv seem to be fine...personally, the lifeguard is what I would grab. I've had friends with them and read a lot on them...price and quality seem to be great

Ive herd of this one, how is it working for you and how long have you been doing it?
Been running twice per week for 3 months or so. No ill effects noted. Polyp extension remains good on the SPS and the LPS seem to approve. I have to feed it after lights go out or the a thias and wrasses pick off some of the larger ingredients out of the water column.

Not sure if coincidence but a struggling moseleya coral has regained puffiness and feeding response (eats larger pieces of krill and squid) since regular tank feedings began.

Tricky part for me was following the quantities so there was enough moisture content to freeze solid. I started with too little and it didn't freeze until I added more of the aminos.

@SBB Corals , Shane after participating in the Instagram with Kung Fu Danny , I bumped my whites to 4% at peak, and might try to go a bit higher as the torches do seem brighter.

I wonder if they seem brighter because your tank was darker...lol
