I had to work an overnight shift Friday into Saturday and then got called in at 6am yesterday to oversee the final stages of a fuel spill cleanup and didn’t get home until almost 3pm. Somehow, an operator managed to overturn a 7,500 gallon tanker that was full of jet fuel.

I think they’ve missed me.

If you zoom in, you can see the tanker on its side. The speed limit on the vehicle service road is 15mph. From what I was told, the operator was driving on the wrong side of the road and then had to swerve right to avoid a vehicle coming his way and then swerved left to make a turn in the road and the sloshing of the fuel cause the tanker to flip over.
