I've got this rock right here, I need to isolate the purple zoas on the back as they are growing over the other zoas, you cut or break the rock?

I recently had to break a rock to get an RFA out of a crevice before I dunked the rock to kill an encrusting sponge. I used a chisel and hammer. It worked pretty well.

Depends on the rock but if you can get a screwdriver in it and twist it may break right off.

How u killed the sponge? Lol that purple zoa has an orange one, it doesn't bother them (atleast it doesn't look like it).
U can't tell it's there during day time, lights go off and the zoas close up then u really see how big it is, I'd like to keep it from spreading too much aswell if not just kill it off, I've tried just leaving the rock out of water for a little bit but it never dies, I was told that would kill it multiple times lol

Well... I submerged the entire rock in bleach water for a few weeks. That's why it was pretty important to remove the RFA first...

I have a cotton candy from another vendor but the tips got much darker and pretty blue. IDK maybe it's my parameters. Went from 1 head to about a dozen small ones since last summer.

It is fastest growing torch I have which might need to be relocated. It currently is reaching out to those green and red montis but hasn't zapped them.

It's reach is about 3-4 inches away from a frogspawn, that's my real worry.
