Wait what's this "power hour" you spoke of... what did I miss!!
Thanks for the writeup we need to do many site updates with mother colonies. We grow frag out colonies frag condition and sell them so all of the above.. as for torch description we will take that into consideration@SBB Corals since you seem to be around, two things.
First, I think the sale went well. This format has pros and cons compared to the big splashes, but the 'power hour' or whatever you want to call it was darn exciting. That said, if I didn't happen to be on for it, I would have been pretty sad.
Second - do you buy, condition, and sell, or do you grow out colonies and frag, or both? If you have colonies, it would be pretty nice to have a, 'mother colony,' page to see what they look like all grown up. Along those lines, even a written description of your torch naming would be nice (I don't know the characteristics of a Dr Strange vs hellfire vs gold pool vs whatever) since lighting makes such a huge difference when trying to judge from the pics.
In any case, great sale, thanks for running it. I'm excited to get everything in the tank, arranged, and see what room I have left.
I bought a 26 gallon in October and promised myself I would not upgrade unless it was still just as interesting after a year, so we'll see how it goes and whether I end up with a lot more real estate to fill up!
ETA: Also, it's fun engaging with (almost) everyone ;-)
This one is a hairy sleeper I think like the carnage
At a year you've barley dipped your toes in the water. 2 years is when it gets more fun. By then you've learned and applied so much that a lot of things become second nature. Then...you can start expanding knowledge in areas you used to never care about.. just to have it in your back pocket. What makes this hobby great, if you really dig it, is the level of which you can take the learning/knowledge and play around and experiment@SBB Corals since you seem to be around, two things.
