I was mixing the two blue and coral pro, my tank is drinking everything out of the water, switch back to just coral pro. Agree on sticking with 1, I was tempted to try AF cause of this deal. Biggest thing for me is how quick it mixes, and coral pro is clear within 20-30min.I think the biggest thing no matter what is stability. Pick something and stick with it. Don't change and chase, especially if everything is looking good.
Constantly changing salts or trying new trace elements, or this or that, is just recipe for disaster. Just KEEP IT SIMPLE.
I decided to use red sea Blue bucket, and red sea alk, mag, and Cal and red sea trace. The stability is what matters, keeping it all the same. It doesn't matter the brand (to a point) it just matters you stick with one thing without constant changes.
Anyway, that's just my opinion on the subject lol
To each their ownAf mixes quick but low on traces like moly, iron, cobalt, etc..but im a trace snob now..who has gone to limited wcs...lol. hence...I'll spring for a better salt because it will last a long time.
Hubby making a big batch, come on over.
I ordered 3 bags total, still have a box of RC to get through. I try to do weekly water changes so this might be the best method.I think the biggest thing no matter what is stability. Pick something and stick with it. Don't change and chase, especially if everything is looking good.
