my purple tank is killing my fire shrimp

i'm not sure what to do, not much way I can mediate this situation. The fire shrimp has become a target of the purple tang, and the purple Tang has been chasing the shrimp all around the tank. I think the shrimp's days or hours are numbered. No sign of ich on the tang if that's what some are thinking.

Remove the shrimp.
Can’t say I’ve seen a tang take out a s cleaner type shrimp, seems counterproductive.
Maybe too late.

it's too late, happened very quickly. The tang started up on the shrimp and then once the shrimp became weak, the wrasse conspired. nothing I can do it happened very quickly. Shrimp is gone.

I should have acted quicker and moved the shrimp into the sump. But I just didn't think fast enough.

Definetly going to be one or the other.
I would vote to take the shrimp out but thats just me

usually when something like this happens the shrimp is dead or dying
