Thank you!Welcome to R2R Andy!
Much appreciated. I'm looking forward to getting schooled from every angle. I love utilizing wisdom first versus stumbling over mistakes. Except when I'm convinced in my head that my way is the only way. LolWelcome to R2R and the salty world Andy. Your setup looks good. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
This one made me crack up! Love it. Thank you John.Glad you're here!
Best looking caradina I ever did see!Welcome, glad you are here! Your in the right place, here’s my fresh water shrimp.
Thank you! Is there actually a way to be frugal with this hobby?!
Thanks!Welcome to R2R!
Meh...I'm sure I can drip acclimate a caradina to a reef tank right?! Haaa haaa.13.5g fluval was my first as well! Lots of great people and information here. Haven’t kept caridina as my water is liquid rock lol, might be time to start with rodi! Got any full tank shots?
Thanks!
Thank you!
Welcome aboard, you can make as many as you need or just a joint one with your updates. I combined mine eventually.
Hello fellow reefers! My name is Andy. I'm a newbie with only a 13.5 nano setup and working on a "new" used setup. I'll start up build threads on those soon. Should I make separate threads for each tank?
Here's my Fluval Evo 13.5 between my recliner and my side of the bed. It's in the perfect spot for me to observe from either side!
I figured I'd join up here since I know I'll need to get as much wisdom as possible to hopefully avoid some pitfalls along the way. This seems to be the most active forum online so it will be nice to get insight from so many keepers all over the world.
One of my other hobbies is freshwater caridina shrimp. Hence the username. Is there a caridina group here?! Maybe in the off topic section?
Thanks!Welcome Welcome to R2R !
Thanks Lavey! Enjoy your stay. Spanish Bay is such a beautiful place. Pebble Beach in general is simply magnificent! The tide pools around Asilomar are amazing. Time it just right and you can spend quite a few hours exploring the pools.Welcome to the reef. Will be up your way at the end of the month too visiting Carmel and staying at the Inn at Spanish Bay.
Thank you Digi. Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Before I get too deep into making multiple or just make one. Not sure what I want to do yet. Haa haaa.Welcome aboard, you can make as many as you need or just a joint one with your updates. I combined mine eventually.
Thanks Coral.Welcome !!
Since you asked, I got a couple quick pics of the tank. Ugly looking sand bed...Got any full tank shots?

Looking good! Always a fan of gsp on the side/back. How are you liking the RFG? Been debating adding some and upgrading the return on mine.Since you asked, I got a couple quick pics of the tank. Ugly looking sand bed...
Thanks River!
That's amazing! Congrats. Wish you the best of success and I hope your locals realize how great it is to have a good LFS. Keep grinding and encourage those dollars to stay local. If I'm ever in the area, best believe I'll swing by!Welcome to the club briefing has become a passion of mine so much that I ended up buying the local fish store a few months ago in Rohnert Park, CA 94928 come by anytime to Under The Sea aquatics and let them know. Thanks. Instead of the flat GSP look, I decided to just leave most of it on the big chunks of rock and glue to rocks. I did try and break off smaller chunks to spread the colony a bit, but I was going for more depth and undulations to the back wall.Looking good! Always a fan of gsp on the side/back.
