Tang police don't raid me, I just want to ask a question.

After rock and sand… with the tank being only 15 high (and tanks are not filled to the top)… This is like a shallow puddle and not a standard 6 foot tank.

PS- I am really sorry if i offended anyone
I haven’t seen anything that you’ve done to offend anyone. There is nothing wrong with making a thread asking if a certain fish/fishes are reasonable to put in your tank, even if some people, like me, think it’s a bad idea. I’d rather see someone create a thread asking questions than to just buy fish that are a bad fit for their tank, which in the past I have been guilty of.

Years ago I put an orange shoulder tang in my 125g tank (which ended up dieing in a tank crash). It wasn’t until I actually saw a full sized orange shoulder in person that I realized just how big they can get and that they have no place in a 125g tank. It’s hard to understand how big some of these fish get without actually seeing it in person, and this is how I became a junior member of the tang police.

Honestly I have to agree. This thread was to gather opinions to help others, I dont see why people are so mad at me :/

Uhm...No naso then?
That was a bad arrangement of words, I meant why people think my tank is strange or a puddle

Because I also own a shallow tank around that height and I can’t imagine those large fish in it as adults.

Tamberav is a very smart person. Take her words like gold! She knows what she’s talking about.
