I would use it to get a bigger tank. The 55 gallon is nice but would love a bigger tank. Then would start working to developing a sump for the larger tank.

That's about enough money for me to set up a new 40 gallon tank and stock it with coral, so I would do that.

I was thinking the exact same thing except not the size. Maybe a tad smaller!

Guess it depends on a person’s taste in equipment! $1000 can either stretch pretty far in this hobby if u stick with aqueon tanks and jebao equipment. However for others it might afford one piece of equipment or not even that!

Well, already planning upgrade and since my wife recently said she'd love to see a 120gal reef in the living room - I'm thinking that $1000 needs to go towards a nice weekend getaway for her being pretty dang terrific!

New tank for sure. This 20 gallon Aqueon was ideal when i first started, now its too small. Need me a big boy tank!

If someone was to give me a $1000.00 I'D PUT IT TOWARDS a @ghl controller. That's my dream equipment to hopefully afford one day.
I got a used ProfiLux 4 on here for $400 so it’s closer within reach than you might think. I was initially looking to get the new Hanna temp/pH/salinity monitor but only spent $150 more for the GHL.

I appreciate that, I'll get back with you. It'll be a minute before I can buy anything at this moment because I bought 9 acropora this past week.
