That's about enough money for me to set up a new 40 gallon tank and stock it with coral, so I would do that.

I was thinking the exact same thing except not the size. Maybe a tad smaller!

Well, already planning upgrade and since my wife recently said she'd love to see a 120gal reef in the living room - I'm thinking that $1000 needs to go towards a nice weekend getaway for her being pretty dang terrific!

If someone was to give me a $1000.00 I'D PUT IT TOWARDS a @ghl controller. That's my dream equipment to hopefully afford one day.
I got a used ProfiLux 4 on here for $400 so it’s closer within reach than you might think. I was initially looking to get the new Hanna temp/pH/salinity monitor but only spent $150 more for the GHL.

I appreciate that, I'll get back with you. It'll be a minute before I can buy anything at this moment because I bought 9 acropora this past week.
