Hi, I just got my 350 this week, what are people using for covers? I accidentally order the wrong size for the DIY screen cover, so I’m contemplating return for the right size, or if there is a different direct I should go. I would appreciate any opinions
Take a look at the Jumpguard. The pro version has black netting.

I am setting up a doser for the first time and was wondering where the best place is to dose in my sump?

I have a Reefer 250 with a V3 sump. I was thinking of the downflow section to help avoid any build up in the skimmer and return pump but I am open to suggestions.

It’s personal preference. A lot of people dose into the return chamber but I dose straight into my Fuge.

Let me know if you want to sell it you seem so miserable. I also have a red sea tank And was thinking of getting a second one. Can you please name one tank manufacturer that has 100% success record with their tanks and has never had an issue? I didn’t think so.
Huh???

Are folks using the DIY net cover kit? Been considering one for my 350. Looks like there’s plenty of room for user error... or am I assuming it’s more difficult than it actually is?

I put a Clearview lid on mine and very happy with it.

@Crabby48 is that a Clearview lid or a Safe Tops lid? Looks like a Safe Tops lid. Safe Tops cost more but there are more options.
Yes it’s a safe top lid. Recently I saw a post that he is not making them right now.
I wanted the vented top so I wouldn’t have condensation and there fit was tight.

@Crabby48 any idea when he'll be making them again or if he will? You say it's a tight fit? How tight? Is it jammed in there?

It’s not jammed in it has about 1/16 inch gap around the mount. He didn’t cut squares but followed the shape of my mounts perfect.

Not sure when he will be making them. I think the machinist he used parted ways. Best would be try and contact him and ask.

Its very hard for others to impress me but top kids did and more. Hope they get back to making lids

I have just a few question for you @Crabby48 about you lid. Are those removable feeding doors on the front side with their own netting? Looks like you have a cut-out for an Apex AFS and is the cut-out for the area where the food falls or just for the bracket and then the food falls past the frame without a gap for the food to fall?

You are correct they are removable feeding doors with netting. I didn’t want solid acrylic. He has many options.
The afs cut out is for the mounting bracket only. The food falls through the netting. It would be a big gap if not that way.
The overflow I wanted cut out but is a little smaller then the over flow box. I can still remove the Red Sea cover but I must tilt it to fit out.
When adding wrasse and they became stressed they looked for opening so I wanted it tight so no one can jump. It gives a clean look also
