My banana grail torch. I wanted one for many many years. Then my tank went through a decline for a while because I lost motivation, life had some changes, etc.

One day, I decided…it’s time to rebuild. Once the tank was ready, I decided to finally purchase the coral I’ve wanted for almost a decade - a banana grail. Two reasons - 1) I’ve always wanted one and now had the means to get it. 2) a fail safe. With this in my tank, I would not let anything happen to the tank again.

That torch is gorgeous! And I'm glad it got you your motivation back!

There are so many cool corals here in this feed. My new tank favorite just might be this Voodoo Majick. I'm excited to see how it looks in a year. The colors are just crazy.

Right now I have vivid raspberry Milli and a purple bonsai to make sure my parameters are good.

Another favorite of mine is a 6x6 plate of mushrooms I took out of a dying tank that was about to be tore down. It was covered in algae, they were just small and brownish green. I threw it in the bottom of my tank and let my CUC go to work. A couple months later this is what I got.

I have a couple of Shane’s corals. A Sun God, Oasis, and Red Dana. I killed a Juicy Fruit smoothie during an alk swing when I was on vacation. He has nice stuff. I’m in an acro rabbit hole. More coral than room.
