Yeah, well, we're waiting at least two weeks anyways so that should be enough time. It's hard to tell new eyes in these new lights because they can make spots look like eyes--if that makes sense to you guys. Lots of areas look orange

Noticed this with mine- the force feeding caused rapid eye growth, but almost discolored the surrounding tissue due to the size of the eyes. Not sure if that's what's going on with yours, but sounds similar.

The eyes themselves seem to take a while to advanced their orange color. They start at a really dull orange and end up pretty bright orange after a while. The base/rim looks great and haven't noticed any discoloration yet; however, I did end up losing the entire rim after the second month of having the frag and all I could see was the blue base..eventually the rim started growing back again.

Drainbamage: Have you noticed that eyes will literally pop up over night? lol..tell these guys that I'm not messing with them!

Hey guys, sorry I've been slacking on the updates and pics. I don't know why my college cuts off two days that I normally do homework on and expects us to get this stuff done throughout the work week :'(

Saturday will be the last day I have to deal with any of this and I should be able to begin fragging either Saturday night or Sunday. I'm not sure how many eyes we have because I haven't really even looked much and I've barely been on R2R other than for a quick in-and-out.

So, updates are coming..fragging is coming...I'll let you guys know what's going on by Sunday! See ya.

I know i don't but been following along..lol.. I myself + plenty of other's been having Fed Ex - Ups horror stories, lost, beat up, day or two late.. All the time you put in to feeding, careing for that sweet chalice, less risk's the better!! I will step down now and be quiet..lol Good luck guy's, you can send me the extra eye..haha

I honestly don't think that mail carriers care at all about our packages. I've sat there and watched USPS shake a package in front of me and say "is it fragile?" while 3 huge FRAGILE stickers were on the box.

I've also stood there with my package that I gave to a USPS worker and the package had "THIS SIDE UP" arrows all over it...the first thing he did was take it and put those arrows sideways....

People don't care because it's not theirs.

I agree though....packaging the coral and sending it to Mike, then having him send it back out just seems like a lot of extra stress and time wasted. Not that I don't appreciate his offer!

Ok, fragged today. I have the lights off now so the coral can chill for a while. I have 6 frag plugs with my miami but I think one plug has two eyes, but I could be wrong....by the way, that frag plug was like cutting through steel....

Lets all hope that everything goes well. I'll let you guys know how they look and continue to feed them so they heal quickly (once able to be fed).
