I'm feeding it a piece of raw shrimp very other dayLooks a little faded, it might help, I'm no nem expert though. I posted questions about mine in the nem section but did not get much feedback though.

alrighty i finally had some time last night to test NO3 and PO4...they are quite high. NO3 read 50 on the salifert test and PO4 was 3, again on salifert. i meant to make water for a WC last night but fell asleep before i could. i intend on doing one tomorrow morning, is there anything else you all suggest i do?
My two systems are .3 and the other is .02. .3 is the older system. Haven’t figured out why the differencePo4 was .3? I often wonder why people battle such high nutrients all the time. Is it too many fish, flake food, pellet food, frozen...probably a combo? What makes so much waste that neither the coral consumes it nor does all the equipment pull it out? I guess I've never really thought about it
and no skimmer eitherno, the po4 is 3. i only have 13 fish so i doubt it is that, but i for sure overfeed i think.
Same equipment, fish load, feeding? My two systems are .3 and the other is .02. .3 is the older system. Haven’t figured out why the difference
correct, no skimmerand no skimmer either
What size tank and fish?no, the po4 is 3. i only have 13 fish so i doubt it is that, but i for sure overfeed i think.
I think about 125g and a tang loverWhat size tank and fish?
it's a 125, i have a blue tang, yellow tang, sailfin tang, tomini tang, three cardinals, three clowns, diamond goby, orange spot blenny, and a coral beauty angel as well as a fire shrimp. nowhere near enough CUC.What size tank and fish?
I've read every 3 days, gives them plenty of time to digest their food. Then other people say they feed tiny amounts everyday.I'm feeding it a piece of raw shrimp very other day
My nano, easy to overfeed, PO4 skyrockets but nitrates are always low.Po4 was .3? I often wonder why people battle such high nutrients all the time. I have ro water made. Cipro is out for deliveryI've read every 3 days, gives them plenty of time to digest their food. Then other people say they feed tiny amounts everyday.
Honestly thinking about it, the questions and advice you would find,
Tank parameters, I know your tank is stable and everything.
Lightning and flow?
Is it sticky?
Is it's mouth gaping?
Does it seem to be expelling a lot of waste?, which could be zooxanthellae.
With large nems it seems to be, if in doubt, pull it and Cipro treatment.
Probably too much seaweed. That's high in phosphate
i actually don't feed that enough as i should, i am mostly on new life spectrum pellets and flakes occasionally.Probably too much seaweed. That's high in phosphate
In ppm? That’s crazy highno, the po4 is 3. i only have 13 fish so i doubt it is that, but i for sure overfeed i think.
yes, ppm. sorry about that, i will do that going forward. In ppm? That’s crazy high
Side note I really wish more folks would provide units when sharing results. It drives the scientist in me crazy.
