What do you use Billy? I’m thinking my lack of vibrant colors may be the reef crystals. Corals seem healthy enough, but have never really had bright color. I would consider changing for a while to see what happens.

Morning. I did a dumb thing last night. A light bulb was loose and not hot, so I thought I would just gently screw it back. Well it shattered as I was feeling it and left a good cut on my left thumb. Took a bit to stop bleeding. Lucky . Lesson learned

Lol..its not the salt. My tank has been consistent for a year or so. You have changes all the time. That's the difference I would think.

Fortunately, we caught it in time; but, it was extremely aggressive and difficult to control. Ironically, I almost always wear gloves. This time I didn't.

FYI: nearly everyone's tank has Vibrio in it. I'll be writing an article about it in the next few days. It just needs an opportunity. Wear gloves, kiddos.

Nope, me either, (yet) we got 2 labeled as lightning maroon, but the one definitely looks like a Gold Lightning. Petco probably mislabeled it

We saw a few different varieties, snowflakes, Wyoming, Picasso, and some regular types. She was set on the lightning.

I think overall, her interest in the tanks will help her out. She has never had a healthy hobby before. She has shown a lot of interest and I've been showing her things that I do. We're going to frag some corals this weekend.
