I got bit by my clown once. I pulled my hand out of the tank and accidentally threw her on the ground. After I put her back in she swam a little off for an hour or so and then she was back to normal. Interesting thing is, she hasn't bit me since. Yes, she is still alive. She was afraid the maroons were going to bite.
That's just crazy. All the things we do everyday and it comes down to your hand in a fish tank.Yeah, I spent almost a week in the hospital battling a Vibrio infection in my hand. Zero stars, do not recommend.
That's what I told her, you have to assert dominance. If they bite you, bite them back!I got bit by my clown once. I pulled my hand out of the tank and accidentally threw her on the ground. From a cut from a coral? What happened?Yeah, I spent almost a week in the hospital battling a Vibrio infection in my hand. Zero stars, do not recommend.
Look something like this?Glad to hear. Mine are stupid busy and all over the glass. I can't move the glass cleaner without a bunch in the way.
What's been going on, I've been MIA since I've been super busy this week.
Exactly. Sad thing is I crashed my phyto culture. I added two new reactors and put a split in the lines on an eheim 400 air pump. Turns out it isn't enough flow. I get new culture starters tomorrow and another eheim 400 from BRS on Friday.Look something like this?
I had an old cut on my finger that was almost healed. I didn't even think about it and had my hand submerged in tank. Within slx hours, my hand had ballooned up. Fortunately, we caught it in time; but, it was extremely aggressive and difficult to control. Ironically, I almost always wear gloves. This time I didn't.From a cut from a coral? What happened?
No. Unrelated to the tank. I put a drill bit into my finger a few weeks ago. It was an old puncture wound. From a cut from a coral? What happened?
Probably has more potassium in it?Just took some photos tonight. I changed salt on my last bucket, only because they don't make the Aquaforest bio salt anymore and switched it to Hybrid.
It has only been a week, but I'm getting more reds like @billyocean .
This one in particular shocked me tonight and I've never seen it this red:
SBB Renegade:
SBB Angry Unicorn:
SBB something from the previous sale:
SbB Disneylandon the bottom center and SBB Space Ghost nub on bottom left, SBB Angry Unicorn bottom right, two other SBB sticks I forget.
Sbb purchased MattV Red Dana is very rainbow:
SBB Guilty Pleasure bottom left, non SBB snail covering the SBB Hollagram and a non namer above it.
Probably. I bought some to add, still sitting in it's package but I assume the same thing.Probably has more potassium in it?
Looking really good. Have you tried Red Sea? I haven’t, but considering itJust took some photos tonight. I changed salt on my last bucket, only because they don't make the Aquaforest bio salt anymore and switched it to Hybrid.

Nope, in the two years I've been doing this, I started with the largest bucket of Tropic Marin Bio salt and liked it, switched to Aquaforest Bio Salt on the second bucket and now on a small bucket of Aquaforest hybrid to see if I want to do that or go back to Tropic Marin.Looking really good. im a convert from Reef Crystals to AquaForest Reef salts. Mix fast and clean. Added bonus-the corals seem to have shown better growth since the change over.Nope, in the two years I've been doing this, I started with the largest bucket of Tropic Marin Bio salt and liked it, switched to Aquaforest Bio Salt on the second bucket and now on a small bucket of Aquaforest hybrid to see if I want to do that or go back to Tropic Marin.

Most tanks have at least three vibrio strains.@StatelineReefer had a positive for Vibrio in his test he sent in if I remember correctly.
