Always wanted a mantis
I have one that came in with some rocks when I bought an extra 20 lbs live rock when setting up the tank. So far just eats frozen and a snail periodically. Named it Master of Bugs

Nice,

I was hoping to get one with the live rock I bought just to make him a little home in the sump but no luck. I also herd they eat bristle worms which is a plus.

Honestly , those pics don’t convey his colors all that well, under whiter light he’s much more brick red in the main body. Love watching it at feeding time , esp since it’s been getting bolder about coming out to feed.

Yup. I initially considered kicking it out, but I can live with murdered snails, since it isn’t a spree killer. Yet…
