Been using AF Reef since November last year.

Hinges on cabinets?

It is an AIO so no sump. But the hinges are good.

Was that what caused yours or was it the vinyl hose?

Also take a magnet through your sump see if it picks up a rando screw or something.

Skimmer pumps, return pumps, etc. Hinges, canopy lights, etc. Micrograms sure isnt much.

You hit any of the big WC yet? I waited about 3 weeks after the big WC and calculated lut the expecred tin to see if itnwas still contributing.

I was also speculating it was a bad batch of fws or.coral boost.

Just did 30% WC yesterday. Will do another later this week.

Is there a home test for tin or is it just an ICP?

Might sound nuts but have you checked your water and salt mix? Found out one of my kids had thrown a couple of beads in my ato reservoir. Didn't hurt anything but got me thinking

Just ICP unfortunately. How it is for most metals. Biggest thing is to just do those WC then see ifnits whrre you think it should be then see if theres more addition.... try running your gyre in a bucket of rodi and see if any residue is left behind. Better than visual inspection

I planned to check the saltwater holding tank as it has a heater in it today. I do have an older Iwaki pump that I use to mix the water.

But I have 2 other tanks that use the same water and don't have nearly the tin level as it this tank.
