My first attempt at catching a fish was last week. Turned an acclimation box on its side and put a fish line on the lid, now door. Put the algae clip inside for 4 days. All the fish would go in after it. Fifth day I put in the algae clip and stood back. Dori was the first one in. Pulled the Lina and closed the door. Piece of cake.

I get plastic netting a while roll and section out the tank. Eventually it swims into netting and bam. But those acros.....

I believe my tank's issues are over. Haven't seen any negative signs in a while. I did lose my 24k torch. The other torches are doing well. Odd how some acros up and died overnight and other are fine. Same with the 24k torch. Now that alk is back to my normal level (~8), I'm going to let the corals continue to recoup and then go from there.

This is the conundrum i fear but havent had to deal with. Fortunately the biggest nori fiend is coincidently the one i always have to remove.

I used this trap to nab:
Lieutenant tang
Naso tang
Gold rim tang

Dori was dumb enough i moved the clip up high and just netted her out, no trap necessary.

I had some other blob of a fish nesting on my valida colony, he got siphoned out at night.

Siphoned out! Love it! That’s on par with the spear or hook solution.
