LFS has a giant Sherman, he doesn't like to cut them and has been waiting years for it to split.

His CSB was almost 18 inches before it finally split. He sold it for nearly $1000 last year.
The rainbows split more often. Btw: I work half day tomorrow, then I get the pleasure of a root canal after.

Thanks. Anybody else have a favorite fish trap?
My first attempt at catching a fish was last week. Turned an acclimation box on its side and put a fish line on the lid, now door. Put the algae clip inside for 4 days. All the fish would go in after it. Fifth day I put in the algae clip and stood back. Dori was the first one in. Pulled the Lina and closed the door. Piece of cake.

Nice catch! My problem is my fish eat like they have never eaten before and consume everything so quickly. There is no grazing, pure feeding frenzy every time. They get fed five times a day and they go nuts every time, crazy! I could put 10 cubes of frozen and multiple sheets of nori and within a few minutes there is nothing at all floating around. The other problem is the angel doesn’t really pick at the nori, only pellets, frozen, rocks, and apparently coral. No way I can think of to have uneaten food in the trap for her, especially once the tangs figure out it is safe. I think I have better odds with a lottery ticket. Should be fun!

This is the conundrum i fear but havent had to deal with. Fortunately the biggest nori fiend is coincidently the one i always have to remove.

I used this trap to nab:
Lieutenant tang
Naso tang
Gold rim tang

Dori was dumb enough i moved the clip up high and just netted her out, no trap necessary.

I had some other blob of a fish nesting on my valida colony, he got siphoned out at night.
