Since we aren’t getting booth pics I’ll have to spam more of mine to holdover until someone posts pics for the event that most of us can’t attend

It’s not hard! I just took these. Someone has to be there representing us remote fans and giving us pics

How are you getting that level of detail? I can sometimes get good pics if the coral is in the right spot for the light, but uploading to R2R finishes off whatever quality i was able to capture

I use iPhone se with reefing art orange lens

Clean glass. Camera as close to the glass as possible. Straight. Not at an angle or you get distortion. If right up close to the glass is “too close” it’s best to back phone up a few inches so you are in the right focal distance range, then zoom

When attaching to a post make sure you insert full and not thumbnail

Haven't seen many Moseleya pics. Yours looks great. Mine has more orange around the polyps:

ok, need help. I had a few torches die from brown jelly. I did kfc dip on torches left in the tank. well this morning, woke up to maybe 4 torches left. This is out of about 35/40. Not gonna cry about it as it comes with reefing but looking for peoples strategies of ridding tank of this so that when I put more torches in they dont die immediately. (Luckily, I have 4 other tanks in the house to put things in if needed)

BTW, I let the kids feed while I was kinda out of commission and well wont do that again. Alk and nitrates are way high. Cal- 380, Mag 1340, Pho .3

Also, did 30 gallon water change and prepared to do another tomorrow after testing again.
I cant figure torches out. I havent lost any but i feel as though theyre never fully happy. Im guessing its too much flow.

If I ever had a mass die off of anything Id send an ICP immediately, replace DI if necessary and do 2 40% WC. Worked for my last crash but its a crap shoot.

Id also calibrate and doublecheck (2nd test kit/tool) salinity and alk measurements

First - dang. Sorry to hear about the losses.

I have previously had to treat the whole tank to rid it of the brown jelly. Cipro and Amox overnight plus MB7 during the day for 7 days. Did not stop the spread immediately and still lost a few more during treatment.

Yours is very nice. It’s not a common coral to find. I believe you’re is a less common color also.

Mine started as a single green polyp, I’ve got the baby on the left and 2-3 more on the back. The yellow streaks growing in are relatively new, a welcome surprise

I had to head out before I could go back for pics, sorry to disappoint everyone lol
Extremely disappointing!!!! A professional, resourceful, seasoned reefer that talks about SBB booth’s corals being amazing and best in show, and NO PICs, really, wow!!! We were all counting on you and only you and have been anxiously waiting all day for the big drop. Kind of joking, kind of not, lol. Guess you were just too blinded by the fire!

did you do the cipro and ammox at the same time as mb7 or one after the other.
