did you do the cipro and ammox at the same time as mb7 or one after the other.

When I had bjd on a new torch I treated the tank in this order
Cipro
Chemiclean

And it did not help save the torch. But I also didn’t have bjd spread. Can’t say for sure my treatment plan was a factor or not

Yours is very nice. It’s not a common coral to find. I believe you’re is a less common color also.

Mine started as a single green polyp, I’ve got the baby on the left and 2-3 more on the back. The yellow streaks growing in are relatively new, a welcome surprise
Very slow grower and rather temperamental for me. I had 2 other single polyp neon green that just refused to thrive.

Cipro/amox at night followed by MB7 in the morning. Each day for 7 days. Same time. Thoery is replacing any "good" bacteria that the cipro/amox kill.
thanks. i did do chemiclean. i will hit it tonight with ammox and cipro then tomorrow with the mb7. we shall see if this works. thanks

Since we aren’t getting booth pics I’ll have to spam more of mine to holdover until someone posts pics for the event that most of us can’t attend

It’s not hard! I just took these. Someone has to be there representing us remote fans and giving us pics

You can just try the KFC dip daily on the torches. Add chemiclean to the whole tank. And then kfc dip any new torches in the future.
Also agree with an icp test to make sure nothing else is weird.

You guys deal with low phosphate levels? Does GHA thrive in lower phosphate? I don’t have a lot of algae but there is always a couple spots blooming. And, I have to dose phosphate because my tank eats it up so quickly and wondering if I should dose more to help… my levels are hard to read. Pretty much undetectable on salifert test. I think it’s .01-.02ppm with .01 addition every other day

Hair algea or any algea really will suck it up too so even if it isn't zero it won't read. If you want to try to get rid of it add algea grazers? Tangs, foxface etc... my tank has zero spots of algea (tang gang). Otherwise you can try to dose peroxide.

Why do you think so high? Do you have a ton of fish? What do you feed?
2 yellow tangs, PB tang, Blue Hippo tang, Fox face, 3 clowns, goby, thread fin angel, hawkfish, 2 cardinals, pajama cardinal, lawnmower blenny, and 2 damsel jerks.

I do feed some frozen but that’s every other day.

Corals don’t seem to be affected by the phos

I don’t think I can add those guys to my 25 gallon, as much as I would love to. My three fish are already competing for space. So, maybe peroxide straight to the tank?

that is a few fish. So, pellets, nori in between frozen? The frozen I feel would add more nitrate than phos.
