My bsa madracis spent 2 days closed and honestly I was starting to go in panic mode so i moved it off the rack and to the sandbed and it didn’t help.

Then last night I thought - it’s been open every single day on the rack…put it back.

And this morning…

Then you tie up 15k for a year to make $750? Is that right ?
Well it’s 15k you’re already planning on using towards your principal- just making it yield the most money. Yes- you would be tied up investing - it’s actually a better yield to do it in 3-6mo increments too so it is tied for maybe a quarter but that’s the service you’re getting paid for. Agree this is strategy with money you can afford to invest. Yes it’s only $750 and technically only $188 more but would you rather have $562 or $750?

I’d rather have 15k in the savings on tap and available if needed and making a small amount of interest then locked away for a year to gain 188

Now that is a return on investment. Small amount put in and 1.5-2 years I can keep a branch of 2 and sell 6 for 400 each (if I’m greedy lol) and get $2400, a return of 600%. And I keep 2 to grow out, and starting with two will make my next grow out even faster as torches grow exponentially

One extra payment to principal a year on a 30 year loan will pay it off 7 years early i believe. 15 year mortgage is the way to go if you can swing it....better rates too
we refinanced our mortgage to a 15 year during the peak of covid. 2.4%! only 12 years left now and payments are the same as they were for our previous 30 year

If the two door dash meals mean anything to your bottom line you probably shouldn’t be ordering from DoorDash. Plenty of other ways to make your money make more money. Sure they may involve slight more risk

I keep thinking I should just make a dedicated torch grow out tank

Buy a variety of high end torches and just let them cook for a year or two and make a side hobby of torch sales
That's funny, as I was fragging some corals last night, was thinking the same thing.

I think everyone has thought about doing this and my worry is that the market will be too saturated so prices plummet.
